Air rushes past you, and the ground is a distant memory. Nothing heard and nothing felt but the wind whipping through your hair, stinging your eyes, snatching your breath.

You've been falling for so long. So long.

In this great fall of days, months, years, you've only had yourself to examine, looking inward and outward. As you descend deeper into the maw of the earth, you can only guess at what lies below. As you descend, you know this fall must be as fatal as any terrible creature. As you descend, your resolve galvanizes. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom.

So for now, at least, you'll keep falling.
